Success

This past weekend I attended the life changing Re:Write the Ragged Edge Conference in Austin. If you’ve never been to it, Re:Write is an intensive two days of literary overload centered on the repeated theme – What is success?

Worldly success may be a book in print, movie deals, monetary gain, fame… but is that really the success you seek? Is it a success for God?

I came home with this question in my heart and thoughts. I reevaluated my approach to the whole life of being a writer in general. I gave these concerns to the Most High and got back my answer almost instantly. Success is to be obedient to God. If my words impact even one person the way He wants, that’s success. God gave me this talent. It is through his grace I am able to write even one word.10945371_10153025430996291_1199343422316505859_n.jpg

1 Peter 4:10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

Sincerely,

J. Rae Moore
